Overview

AudioSalad is looking for a Director of Artist & Label Marketing to join our growing team. In this role you will be responsible for leading global marketing strategy and campaign initiatives across our distribution client base, including both emerging and established artists and labels, spanning a wide range of genres.


What You Will Be Doing
  • Serving as the main point of contact for our clients, their artists, and management teams.
  • Maintaining close communication with label/artist teams to align on strategy, secure feedback and approvals, and adapt plans as needed.
  • Strengthening our relationships with our commercial partners at the DSPs and foster new relationships with newly licensed services.
  • Staying informed on product developments and proactively identifying opportunities on the DSPs to educate and engage our clients.
  • Collaborating with internal teams, Clients and DSPs to maximize campaign impact.
  • Leading the execution of global marketing strategies, including ad campaigns, for artist and project campaigns, with a focus on audience growth, brand development, and market expansion.
  • Spearheading DSP pitching and playlist strategy for new releases.
  • Devising marketing plans around key campaign moments, product releases, social media, and long-term artist development.
  • Coordinating timely execution of campaigns by setting clear milestones, deliverables, and ownership across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Running digital marketing campaigns across platforms including Meta, Spotify, and TikTok.
  • Overseeing marketing budgets and ensuring campaigns are delivered efficiently and within budget.
  • Ensuring all marketing activities align with business objectives and meet quality standards.
  • Tracking and analyzing ad performance to continuously improve results.
  • Monitoring market trends and engagement levels to inform strategic adjustments.
  • Using audience insights and streaming analytics to continuously optimize campaign strategies and positioning in key markets.
  • Mentoring marketing team members, fostering a culture of creativity, strategic thinking, and continuous improvement.
  • Optimizing internal operations and processes for efficiency and impact.

What Makes You Qualified
  • 5+ years of experience, preferably at a distributor, label, label services, or management company.
  • A proven track record of executing creative marketing strategy and innovative release campaigns.
  • Well-established relationships across the music industry, including key stakeholders at DSPs and social media platforms.
  • A deep knowledge of digital trends.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and lead prospective client pitches.
