This Creative position will be responsible for various administrative and roster development duties. The ideal candidate for this position should also be very comfortable in social situations, interacting with artists and executives at all levels.


Roster Duties will include
  • Identify and scout emerging talent through research, live event attendance, and active engagement within the music industry.
  • Introduce new creative talent to the firm and create strategies to further develop their catalogues.
  • Develop, create, and manage songwriting sessions and camps for talent rosters.
  • Actively source, develop creative opportunities and build relationships with managers, label, producer, artist for the benefit of peermusic’s current client roster.

Administrative duties will include
  • Prepare talent acquisition proposals and retrieve the information needed for said preparation.
  • Updating current roster developments and potential signings for weekly meetings.
  • Keep abreast of music trends, chart data and any other metric to be able to create reports on a weekly basis.
  • Consistently update the peermusic roster page.

Qualifications and Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in A&R at a music publisher, label or songwriter/artist client service.
  • The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, fast learner, have good sense and sound judgment in practical matters, and at least five years of music related experience.
  • Strong relationship building skills.
  • Ability to take initiative, collaborate and overall “play well on a team”.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills and collaborations skills.
  • Great organizational skills with the ability to prioritize based on the evolving workload.
  • Must be motivated with an “everything is possible” attitude.
  • Must be passionate about music and knowledgeable about the Latin music scene and trends.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 265 including: Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
  • Fluency in Spanish is required.
